Public Conveniences
Toilet facilities can be found across the city centre and certainly at the stations, shopping malls and within the Millennium Stadium itself. Temporary facilities are likely to be constructed immediately around the Stadium. Other conveniences are situated as follows:

  • Wood Street, across from the central bus depot in Central Square
  • Westgate Street, next to the NCP car park outside the Northern section of the Stadium
  • At the corner of Hills Street and The Hayes, close to St. David's Hall
  • Kingsway, opposite the eastern walls of Cardiff Castle
  • Greyfriars Road, close to the road meeting The Friary
    Station Terrace, on the right hand side as you exit Queen
    Street Station

Parking

There are a number of parking facilities in the city centre, close to the stadium. Again, temporary facilities may be made available by the local authorities. The main parking areas are as follows:

  • Central Station x 2
  • Great Western Lane x 1 (left of Central Station)
  • Westgate Street x 3 (2 at North end of W St., 1 centrally placed at corner of Quay Street junction)
  • Greyfriars Road x 1 (opposite New Theatre building)
  • Capitol Shopping Centre x 1
  • Churchill Way / Edward Street junction x 1 (close to Queen St. Station)
  • Dumfries Place x 1 (close to Queen Street Station)
  • Churchill Way South x 2
  • Mary Ann Street x 1 (close to Central Library)
  • Bridge Street x 2 (close to Central Library)
  • Custom House Street x 1

Coaches should follow directions as indicated by temporary signs erected within the city and its outskirts.

Banks and Cashpoints
The are a number of cash outlets in the city close to the shops, pubs and stadium. Some cashpoints are also situated at Central Station and the Capitol Shopping Centre. The following is a selection
