The story
so far…
Cardiff
Match Day owns many thanks to its parent website, Spot On Cardiff. Launch
in April 1999, Spot On Cardiff established a definitive guide to Cardiff.
The City and the website has grown steadily over the years.
In
the later half of 2000, IT SUPPORT SERVICES and Cardiff Match Day found
they had two things in common. Firstly, their love of all sporting events
with a special interest in sporting events focus around Cardiff, and
secondly, a need to recruit skilled IT people. A marriage of the two
ideas has seen Cardiff Match Day grow in popularity.
Cardiff Match Day was launched in February 2001 for the Worthington
Cup Finals staged at Cardiff Millennium Stadium, and was
designed to publicise local Cardiff facilities and to help travelling
supporters coming into Cardiff to find out a host of useful facts and
information. It is not a sporting website, we leave that to our associated
partners, but a "Walking Guide" to the local facilities in
relation to the stadium.
Cardiff Match Day would like to take this opportunity to thank the team
of people who have been responsible in gathering information available
on this website and members of the public who have voice an independent
opinion about their city and their favourite eating and drinking establishments
within the city and to share this information for visitors coming into
the city. We actively list as many local businesses as possible and
do not degrade any of the business. We do give praise, 'Thumbs Up',
to establishments that have had a high level of service.
A special thankyou goes to IT SUPPORT SERVICES and their staff who have
agreed to sponsor this website along with past sponsors and advertisers.
Finally, a massive thankyou to all our associated partners who have

Europe. Cardiff is now established. A design template is now available
