Designed by William Burgess, an eccentric man, who made his money locally out of coal and metals, the site houses a Norman keep, Roman fort and a Victorian Mansion. Complete, with themed rooms you can travel through the Old Testament, Islam, Hans Christian Andersen and Medieval England.

Go back in time and see a typical welsh cottage in 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s. Those wallpaper designs really suck! Exhibits - ranging from historic buildings to period costumes. Children can explore a Celtic village or see the animals on the farm.
